June 1, 2006 is the Minerals Management
Service (MMS) submittal deadline for platforms requiring
an Ultimate Strength Analysis for platforms that falled
the initial screening phase and the Design Level
Analysis. The Ultimate Strength Analysis can be
both linear and non-linear (pushover)..
Notice to Lessee (NTL) Number 2003-G16 was issued by the
Minerals Management Service (MMS) mandating that all platforms go through an
assessment process per API RP 2A 21st Edition Section 17.
